Todd, Sheryl and I went scouting for Assisted Living Facilities for Dad. We narrowed our search down to areas between Sandy and North Salt Lake for obvious reasons. We learned much and we feel pretty confidant we found the one that will serve Dad best. We are still checking on a few other options. I called Dad and told him all about it and he was ready to pack his bags. The big question now is: should we move him in before and after we sell his condo? Sheryl and I are taking him on a tour of the place on Thursday. They have three floor plans for him to choose from. I don't have time to go into details now. Next post! Gotta run!

I am glad he is considering a move. I think it will be good for him.
ReplyDeleteI think we need to get Harold moved in ASAP! It's going to be easier to do this while he's still excited about the move. I think he'll enjoy the Holiday season more if he's with people! It will also take some pressure off us during this busy (and snowy) time of year.
ReplyDeleteSince no one will immediately be moving into the condo it will give us time to sort through things. We will only have to move some furniture, clothing, etc with Harold. Financially it will not be a problem to pay the condo fee and minimal utilities as well as the Assisted Living Home.
